Greetings Ministry Partner,
This is JJ again from the North American Mission Board. I want you to know that we have been praying for you. We are all looking forward to seeing what God is going to do! But in the interim, we must continue to get ready, so here’s what’s next. You have one job: TRAIN. I have heard the term “basic training” used before, but I lack a military background, so I looked it up. According to the U.S. Army website, basic training (also known as “boot camp”) is required of all newly enlisted soldiers to create a strong foundation for their Army experience and future goals. They train on basics like core values, physical training, first aid, weaponry, combat skills, etc. Well, now it is time for a little basic training of our own!
We will train on some of the basics of an evangelistic event, such as giving an effective gospel presentation and invitation. Surely, we can all benefit from a mini gospel boot camp! This is huge when it comes to your evangelistic event because the intent is to reach unbelievers with the gospel. Your basic training plan is below.
