This is JJ again from the North American Mission Board, and it’s time for your next assignment! You have one job—TRAIN. I have heard the term “basic training” used before, but I lack a military background, so I looked it up. According to the U.S. Army website, basic training (also known as “boot camp”) is required of all newly enlisted soldiers to create a strong foundation for their Army experience and future goals. They train on basics like core values, physical training, first aid, weaponry, combat skills, etc. Well, now is the time for a little basic training of your own!
We will train on the basics of serving others and sharing the gospel so you are ready to engage those who do not know Jesus. Surely, we can all benefit from a mini gospel boot camp! This is huge for an evangelistic event because the intent is to reach unbelievers with the gospel.
